Yamaha reveals reason for not choosing Rossi

Manufacturers from Japan, Yamaha finally opened their voices about their decision to no longer overshadow the world champion for nine times, Valentino Rossi in the upcoming 2021 season campaign. It was one of the resource persons in the Tala Fork Team who explained the reason.

Rossi himself is the mainstay of the Yamaha Energy Monster team along with Maverick Vinales. But certainly, the upcoming 2021 season, The Doctor is no longer in the same team. The reason is Yamaha prefers Fabio Quartararo to be a tandem with Vinales.

For information, the French Rider defended the Yamaha Team Petronas SRT and performed fiercely in the 2019 season yesterday. Throughout the season, he won 7 podiums and 6 poles, and sits at number 5. In his 21-year-old age, the record is certainly very impressive.

No wonder if Quartararo then become a struggle for a number of MotoGP manufacturers to be a mainstay Rider 2021 season. Ducati is one of the manufacturers who openly claims that El Diablo is an interesting rider.

Yamaha then did not want Quartararo to close to the Rival Team, and finally they moved quickly to get the French rider’s signature contract. They succeeded, guaranteeing a position in Team Yamaha Energy Monster with Vinales, shifting Valentino Rossi.

“The risk of losing Fabio is too great, so all factors that exist suggest that Vale must go. Until now, it really doesn’t make sense for us to work without Fabio, because there are no other alternatives that can give us clear guarantees, “said the source.

Yamaha’s fast-paced motion is somewhat strange, because there had never been a manufacturer that reached a contract agreement with a racer before the new season began. But, the Tuningala Team really doesn’t want to lose Quartararo.

“Getting Fabio first would indeed be a foolish act, but if Fabio leaves, then he will perform well in other manufacturers and the situation will be complicated for Yamaha,” said the source who was reluctant to mention his identity.

Rossi, on the one hand, has not yet decided whether to retire or continue racing next season. If he continued, he would definitely join the Petronas Yamaha SRT team.
