Wow, this woman recovered from coronavirus twice!

Coronavirus or Covid-19 is classified as a deadly virus. Even though, there are quite a lot of cases of people recovering from this plague, not a few also died because of it.

In Indonesia, cases of recovery from coronavirus have reached more than 4 thousand cases. Well, the question is, can people recovering from this virus get infected again? The answer is yes.

There are many cases of people who have recovered but have contracted coronavirus again. But, the story experienced by a 66-year-old woman from the US recently is fairly rare. She has been infected with Covid-19 virus twice, and was also declared cured from it.

The woman named Janice Brown, who was initially diagnosed with the positive coronavirus at the end of March. After being treated at Desert Valley Hospital, Victorville, California, USA, she was declared cured on April 3.

Only two days ago, Janice was back treated at the same hospital again. She experienced symptoms of high fever, and finally was diagnosed positively by the coronavirus again.

“I think it’s over. Everyone thinks this is over,” Janice Brown told the Los Angeles Times.

The hospital where Janice was treated was quite surprised by this, because this was the first case they encountered. Previously, Janice was treated intensively for a whole month because of the coronavirus in the same hospital.

Well, after treatment because of a similar case as well, Janice was declared healed again not long ago and now she has been allowed to discharge.

Dr. Imran Siddiqui as one of the doctors at the hospital could not explain with certainty what the cause was. He could be re-infected, or infected from the same source.

“Brown was the first patient to return to the hospital who tested positive again. Is it a re-infection or the same infection? We don’t know, “said Dr. Imran.

In conclusion, a patient who has been declared cured of coronavirus must pay more attention to his health, and be diligent in taking vitamins to boost the immune system.
