Dani Alves has just succeeded in delivering Brazil to win the 2019 Copa America. Appointed as the team captain, Alves played full in the final against Peru which was held on Monday (8/7) early this morning. Luckily for Alves, Brazil won with a landslide score of 3-1.
His status as captain then got the role to lift the Copa America trophy. Interestingly here, it turns out Alves has been instrumental in the success of winning the 40th trophy obtained by the 36-year-old man. This record then made his name becomes the first player to successfully win 40 titles.
Alves’s career journey was unique, he was recorded as moving clubs five times. But he never miss the trophy from the five clubs. Alves’s biggest success was when he was in uniform in Barcelona with a total of 23 titles.
