AC Milan will certainly not be able to field its flagship striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the next few games, but coach Stefano Pioli is not at all worried about that.

The former Barcelona player actually played in a duel against AS Roma last weekend, where AC Milan successfully won 2-0. It’s just that, Ibra did not appear fully, he was even replaced at the beginning of the second half.

After the match, coach Stefano Pioli explained that Ibrahimovic was pulled off the field because of a problem with his left foot. In the meantime, it is known that the bomber will have to pull out of the field for the next 10 days.

This means that Ibra will not appear in the next several AC Milan matches, including against Udinese in the morning WIB (04/03). Not only that, the Goal Machine is also confirmed to be absent in the first leg of the last 16 of the Europa League against Manchester United.

Obviously Ibra’s absence made AC Milan fans worried, because after all the striker was a goal machine for Pioli’s men. So far, Ibra has bagged 16 goals from 22 appearances in all competitions.

Coach Stefano Pioli acknowledged the distribution of an Ibrahimovic to his team, but once concerned insisted that Milan would still be great even without the Swedish player.

“Zlatan is our champion player, but the leader must keep our game, as was shown at the end of last week,”

“If we continue to play like this, we will be fine even without Ibrahimovic and [Hakan] Calhanoglu. We have many players who can be decisive figures,” Pioli said in a pre-match press conference, quoted by Football Italia.

The most important thing right now, according to Pioli, is to focus on the team’s appearance, showing a performance like when he beat AS Roma yesterday.

“We have to focus on ourselves, win as many wins as possible and play our game. We are satisfied with the game in Rome recently.”

“This season is in a decisive moment, we stay focused and try to take advantage of the best possible opportunities. Then, then it will be seen where we are,”
