Toni Kroos believes Real Madrid’s crisis period will pass immidiately
Real Madrid can be said to be in the midst of the current crisis, following a series of negative results in the past two weeks. Of course, the crisis period has always been disappointing, especially for the fans, but midfielder Toni Kroos believes his team can go through this period of crisis, because it has experienced similar situations three years ago.
Admittedly, Real Madrid are undergoing a complicated period in the past two weeks. Starting from the match against Sevilla which surprisingly ended with a 0-3 defeat, then Los Blancos’s poor performance continued afterwards in the derby against Atletico Madrid. In the match, Los Blancos who play on home turf must be satisfied with the eye glass score.
Real Madrid’s suffering did not stop there, those who should have been far superior to Moscow’s CKSA were surprised by the Russian team in the 2nd matchdays of the group phase of the European Champions League with a narrow 1-0 defeat. Three days later against Deportivo Alaves, the defending European Champions league champions lost 0-1.
These series of poor results is seen as proof that Real Madrid are in a crisis period. However, midfielder Toni Kroos believes this phase of the crisis will pass soon, because his team had experienced a similar situation three years ago.
“Two weeks with disappointing results, as well as matches and bad luck. We deserve more points because we don’t play badly, but that’s what it is. Don’t forget we also have similar moments in the last three years … It will be a great challenge to be able to bounce back! Hala Madrid!” wrote Kroos through his Twitter account.
Madrid will return to action in La Liga by hosting Levante after the international break, before facing Barcelona and Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League before the end of this month.
