This is what Frank Lampard said after being fired by Chelsea

Frank Lampard finally voiced his voice through Social Media regarding Chelsea’s dismissal of him. The former England captain did not deny that he was disappointed by the former club’s decision.

Earlier this week, to be precise Monday (25/01), Chelsea had officially announced the dismissal of Frank Lampard from the manager’s chair. With that, the tactician’s 18-month period at Chelsea ended.

Obviously, the reason is that the club is not satisfied with the series of negative results that Giroud Dkk has received this season.

As is known, Chelsea only won two wins in the last eight Premier League matches which made them 11 points behind the top of the standings and stuck in 9th position.

These disappointing results are clearly not expected by the club management, especially since they have poured a lot of money to buy a number of new players last summer.

Lampard himself clearly did not expect this dismissal, but could not do much. After being silent, finally the person concerned expressed his farewell to his players via uploads on Instagram.

“It is a great privilege and honor to handle Chelsea, a club that has been a big part of my life for so long,”

“First, I want to thank the fans for the incredible support I have received over the past 18 months. I hope they know what that means for me, “wrote Lampard.

Lampard himself admitted that he was proud on the one hand, because since his arrival there have been several academy players who have shone. But he was also disappointed that the club did not give him enough time.

“I’m disappointed that I don’t have the time this season to take the club forward and take it to the next level,” said Lampard.

But regardless, Lampard continues to thank the Club President, the Board of Directors, the players and all elements of the Club for their cooperation over the last 18 months.

“I want to thank Mr Abramovich, my board of directors, players, coaching team and everyone at the club for their hard work and dedication, especially in these unprecedented and challenging times,” said Lampard.
