This is 2020 MotoGP Final Standings
The Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing event, MotoGP 2020 has ended, marked by Miguel Oliveira’s victory in the last series in Portugal last weekend, Sunday (22/11).
In fact, the 2020 season campaign is very different when compared to previous seasons, considering that the Covid-19 pandemic had delayed competition for several months.
With various considerations and policies, finally MotoGP has only been held since July, consisting of only 10 series.
The drama was more pronounced when the defending champion, Marc Marquez suffered a serious injury when the first series was just rolling. The Repsol Honda Team rider was then absent throughout the season.
Marc Marquez’s absence made competition even more open and unpredictable. But in the end, Joan Mir, as the rider who was the most consistent in reaching the podium, managed to become world champion.
By only collecting 1 win and 6 podiums, the Suzuki Elctar racer managed to stay at the top of the standings with 171 points. He has even won since the Valencia GP, which was then followed by Franco Morbidelli in 2nd position.
