Tara Basro tells of her bitter experience being a bully victim
One of Indonesia beautiful celebrities, Tara Basro has recently become the center of attention for raising anti-bullying and body shaming campaigns through her photos on social media.
In fact, while attending the Indonesian Film Festival or FFI, Daniel Adnan’s wife wore open clothes that really showed cellulite and excess fat on her body.
This figure who has starred in many feature films really doesn’t care what people say about her body. She even invited her followers to be confident in their respective bodies.
Well, apparently this attitude was carried out by this 30 year old woman because of a traumatic incident in the past, where she had been a victim of bullying. This was confirmed by Tara Basro when answering the question and answer session on Instagram.
“Once (bullied),” replied Tara Basro in the question and answer session.
Tara Basro told me that when she was still in elementary school, she was bullied not only by her classmates, but also by her seniors.
“When I was in grade 5, I was bullied by two generations, it same as in 5th and 6th graders,” he admitted.
The bullying also continued when she was already in Junior High School (SMP). In fact, the reason was completely trivial.
“Then, when I was in junior high school, I was bullied by seniors because of wearing a bandana. That doesn’t matter,” said Tara Basro.
Of course, this incident made Tara Basro, who was still mentally unstable, reluctant to go to school for fear of being bullied again.
“So, if you remember the old days, when you went to school, you liked being nervous yourself,”
“There were a few times every time I came home from school crying, telling my mother, ‘I don’t want to go to school anymore, I don’t want to go to school anymore,’ because my friends at school were so bad,” he recalled.
It is for this reason that she invites her followers to continue to believe in their own appearance and leave this bullying environment.
“Friends who still think like that, leave it. You have to find an environment that can help you increase your self-confidence, grow and develop.” He said.
