Manchester United face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at dawn WIB (30/12).

In that match, the Red Devils were quite inconvenienced by Wolves, even the only goal that was created by Marcus Rashford was just at the end of the match. The 1-0 score closed the match.

Obviously this is an important win for Solskjaer’s men, given the thanks to which they made their way to 2nd in the Premier League standings only two points behind top leaders Liverpool.

After the match, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could not deny the fact that his team’s victory was a bit of luck.

Even though it smelled of luck, Solskjaer said that the victory was also the fruit of hard work from the players from the first minute until the injury time.

“A little bit of luck, a bit awkward, but that’s what happens when you put the team under pressure. That’s a problem we brought up at the start of the season in a meeting.”

“We didn’t get a lot of points towards the end of the game and we have a tradition for that at this club. “It has happened many times and now we have picked up a few points towards the end of the game and that is the mental and physical aspect,” Solskjaer told BBC Sport.

Furthermore, Solskjaer paid tribute to Marcus Rashford who scored the only goal of the match. According to the tactician, the goal was very good for improving the mentality and confidence of the player.

“We now have a group that is stronger both mentally and physically. We’ve been through some difficult training periods, played a lot of games and they’re getting fit. ”

“The fitter you are, the more you can do. But mentally too, it gives you a boost knowing you can win games towards the end. ” he said.

Next, Manchester United will face Aston Villa on Saturday (02/01).
