Manchester City are still at the top of the Premier League table at the moment, but of course they have to maintain that position which is only 2 points separate from Liverpool who sit in the 2nd place. Entering the 13th Matchdays, Pep Guardiola’s squad will face one of the Premier League’s mid-table teams, West Ham United. Their match will take place on Saturday night, November 24, 2018 at London Stadium.
Despite the fact that West Ham United’s position in the standings is not good, they are still known as one of the mid-table teams who often tackle the efforts of top teams to control the top of the table. Therefore, Manchester City must be very wary of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad, especially the Chilean coach who coached Vincent Kompany & team in the past, which means the manager knows exactly the main strength of Citizen.
Statistically, on paper West Ham United are not at all seeded to win in the match, because in fact they only recorded one victory in the last five matches and have lost three of them. And as we said before, the Hammers are ranked less well in the standings, with just 12 points in 13th place from 12 matches.
Meanwhile, Manchester City as we say is top of the standings, with 30 points from 12 matches, or in other words they are two ahead of Liverpool who are in the runner-up position. Pep Guardiolla’s landing team did look good at the start of this season, where in the Premier League they were unbeaten from 12 matches that have taken place.
