Slumped in Aragon, Quartararo confident ahead of the European GP

Fabio Quartararo found disappointing results in the previous series at the Aragon Grand Prix, even so he feels confident and optimistic about looking at the European GP at the weekend tomorrow.

The plan, the European GP will be held from 6 to 8 November at the Ricardo Tomo Circuit, Valencia, Spain. The circuit will also host the Valencia GP on November 13-15.

For Quartararo, this circuit is one of his favorite circuits, for this reason the Petronas Yamaha SRT rider claims to be very confident about the results at the European GP later.

“Even though we had two tough races at Aragon, I want to take advantage of the good feelings I always have on a MotoGP bike in Valencia for the next two races,” said the rider nicknamed El Diablo through the team’s official release.

It’s true, the Valencia circuit is El Diablo’s favorite circuit, even last season he managed to get on the podium there, grabbed poles and even recorded good results in trials.

It is for this reason that Quartararo feels very confident for tomorrow’s weekend.

“Valencia is a small track, but I really like it. I felt very comfortable riding there last year, when I got on the podium and took the poles, as well as during the post-season trials.”

“Of course I hope to repeat it all over the weekend,” said the French rider.

For information, currently Fabio Quartararo is still in 2nd place in the MotoGP standings, 14 points behind the leader, Joan Mir.

The hope is that at the Valencia Circuit later he can reduce that distance.

“Now there are three races left this year, and I am 14 points behind the leaders of the riders’ standings. We know how fast we are, so I think we can have a good chance in the last races in Valencia and Portimao,” he concluded.

After two consecutive series at the Valencia Circuit, Fabio Quartararo and other riders will compete with each other at the Portuguese GP at the Portimao Circuit, which is planned to be held on 20-22 November.
