Rossi and Petronas contract deal will be announced at the Catalunya MotoGP
Italian Veteran Rider Valentino Rossi admits that the process of moving to the Petronas Yamaha SRT Team is only a few minutes away. In fact, The Doctor predicts an announcement about the contract might be made in the upcoming Catalunya Series.
Rossi’s future on the track was indeed questionable. Not only because of the fact that he is 41 years old, but also along with the signing of Fabio Quartaro by the Monster Energy Yamaha Team for the upcoming 2021 season.
In other words, Rossi is a rider displaced by El Diablo, considering his contract also expires at the end of this season.
There was news that Rossi would decide to retire after this season ended, the article in question had not reached an agreement with the Petronas SRT Team to fill the post left by Quartararo next season.

“The rumors about me retiring? It’s easy, not true, the situation remains the same as two to three weeks ago,” said Rossi.
“We are very close to signing the contract, in 2021 I will fix it with Petronas, 99 percent. Maybe we will announce it in Barcelona,” Rossi added.
Furthermore, Rossi understands very well that the issue of him hanging his helmet next season is widespread in cyberspace. In fact, the news is highly sought after by the public.
However, since the initial announcement of Quartararo as a new player for the Monster Energy Yamaha Team next season, he has confirmed that he will continue to race next season.
