Real Madrid failed to get Christian Eriksen’s signature
Spanish La Liga elite club, Real Madrid certainly fail to get the signature of Christian Eriksen, because he decided to resign in the negotiations carried out with Tottenham. It’s been big news in the past few months, as EL Real was so interested in landing this attacking midfielder from Denmark.
In their plan, Madrid wanted to bring Eriksen as a potential replacement for Luka Modric in the Los Blancos midfield next season. News of Madrid’s success getting this player’s signature became even bigger, when Eriksen sounded disapproving of his contract extension with Tottenham.
The situation then made Madrid very serious to put Eriksen as their main target. But now all the news seems to be in vain, because Madrid claimed to decide to withdraw from the competition to bring Eriksen in the upcoming 2019 summer transfer market.
Madrid’s decision was mentioned when Eriksen’s appearance in the Champions League final against Liverpool. In that match, Tottenham had to give up from Liverpool with a score of 2-0, and the record for Eriksen was bad, because he could not be a differentiator for his team when in need.
This decision was taken into consideration by Madrid’s coaching team, and as a result they were not interested in Eriksen’s game and they also need to pay a super expensive price. With the remaining contracts until 2020, Tottenham set a price of Eriksen with a value of 100 million Pounds.
On this basis, that’s why Madrid are increasingly confident that Eriksen is not fit to be in Madrid’s main squad next season. The claim continues when Zinedine Zidane turns out to have a future Madrid midfielder, who is scheduled to be announced after the pre-season ends.
