Real Madrid didn’t let Kovacic move to Atletico Madrid

The desire of Atletico Madrid to land a creative midfielder from Croatia, Mateo Kovacic, finally met a dead end. Where the club who owns the player, Real Madrid are reluctant to let their players move to the city rivals.

Kovacic was listed as an official Real Madrid player in the 2015 season, when he was brought in from Inter Milan with a fairly large official. However, Kovacic’s career path did not go well, where he rarely served as a regular player.

Till Kovacic was loaned to Chelsea in the 2017 season until now. Before moving to London, in fact, Kovacic had recorded 110 appearances in all competitions and contributed three goals with EL Real.

Next season is the season where Kovacic is claimed to be returning to the Santiago Bernabeu, but Kovacic rejected the plan. All of these claims are quite true, where under direction of Zinedine Zidane, Kovacic has always been a coating player.

On that basis, that’s why Kovacic really wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge, because the opportunity to play under the tutelage of Maurizio Sarri more than Madrid. Although Kovacic’s wishes are very much expected, it seems very heavy as Chelsea are in the grip of sanctions against buying new players from FIFA.

This situation gives certainty Kovacic will continue to return to the Santiago Bernabeu, but he will try to find a new club. This situation then opens opportunities for Atletico to enter into the Kovacic transfer zone by trying to bring it to the transfer market next summer.

The plan should be realized by Atletico Madrid, where the Real Madrid always think hard to be able to realize the ambition of the city team to be able to get the player. In the sense that EL Real does not intend to release its players to Atletico Madrid, especially Kovacic.
