Paulo Dybala was in the spotlight, Leonardo Bonucci helped to defense

Argentina striker Paulo Dybala was in the spotlight regarding the match against Lazio last weekend. The ex-Palermo is considered to be the culprit for Juventus’ failure to win, but defender Leonardo Bonucci did not accept these accusations.

Juventus indeed visited Lazio’s headquarters in the Italian Serie A continued last weekend (08/11). Of course, Andrea Pirlo’s men are targeting victory to fix their position in the standings.

If only successful, then the Bianconneri will automatically move up to position 2.

Andrea Pirlo’s troops started the match very well, even when the game was just entering the 15th minute, they were already ahead through a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, it was precisely when victory was in sight, the hosts Lazio managed to score a goal back in injury time with a goal from Felipe Caicedo.

Well, the goal itself occurred as a result of Dybala’s careless action, the Argentine player lost control of the ball before it was taken by Caicedo. No wonder the Argentine striker was the target of criticism from Juventus fans after the match.

The same thing was experienced by Federico Bernardeschi, who was considered to often make blunders. However, defender Leonardo Bonucci was reluctant to keep quiet, he also defended his two colleagues.

“It is not their fault who came on [in the second half], Dybala and Bernardeschi did the job they should have done,”

“We lost the ball and four or five of us made mistakes. There is no indication that we came close to conceding but if you are not 100 per cent focused you are at risk of conceding. This should be a lesson,” Bonucci told Sky Sports after the match.

In fact, Bonucci was also blamed for the process of the equalizer. However, the defender felt that the public also had to see how the goal was created and how strong the home team was throughout the match.

“How could I hold him? He’s good at turning around. I’m between the ball and the ball like they teach him, he’s good at turning with his right foot,”

“Of course, I can do better, but you also have to admit your opponent’s superiority,” concluded Bonucci.
