Only Jack Miller who can beat Marc Marquez
Even though last season’s race was won by Joan Mir, Cal Crutchlow thinks that when Marc Marquez returns to action next season, there is only one rider who can give him tough competition, he is Jack Miller.
Jack Miller himself has quite a winding career in the MotoGP arena, he was hooked by Honda with a three-season contract to jump straight from Moto3 to MotoGP in 2015.
Unfortunately, the potential of this Italian rider was not developed enough with the Japanese manufacturer, as a result in 2018 he joined the Pramac Racing team. Together with his new team, the rider’s potential continues to increase and develop.
At its peak in the 2019 season, Jack Miller collected five podiums until he was finally recruited by Ducati for 2021. Meanwhile, in the 2020 season campaign, Jack Miller won four podiums.
Talking about his former partner in the LCR Honda team, Cal Crutchlow admitted that he was very impressed.
“It’s great to be teaming up with Jack. I’m always the one who says, in terms of speed and talent on the bike, he’s the only person who can challenge Marc. So, about his talent, speed and natural ability on any bike, Jack’s got it all, “said Crutchlow.
This British rider stated Miller’s poor debut in MotoGP in 2015 could not be used as an assessment of his abilities. However, his victory in Assen, the Netherlands, in 2016 is proof that the 2014 Moto3 runner-up does have great potential who lives in a sharper hone.
Furthermore, the figure who now works as a Yamaha test rider believes that only Jack Miller will be able to provide fierce resistance to Marc Marquez.
“It’s wrong if you underestimate Marc, but Jack will be fine, and I’m sure he will fight up front. For me, Jack is one of the most naturally talented riders on the grid.”
“I think he can compete for the title in the next two, three, four years. But his golden age may occur when he is 28, 29, or 30 years old, “he said.
