Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talks about Paul Pogba’s latest condition
The public is curious about the current condition of midfielder Paul Pogba, considering that the French player is in an unhealthy condition after returning from the International Break.
Pogba did indeed join the French National Team squad at the Interansional break yesterday. Unfortunately, he returned to Manchester in a not so good shape.
But news has been heard saying that Pogba’s injury falls into the minor category. However, Manchester United certainly feel anxious, because the former Juventus player was not ready to be played in the match against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
Meanwhile, currently, the Red Devils are preparing for the match against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League group phase continued match. The good news is that Paul Pogba has been training with the team earlier this week.
The news was later confirmed by coach Ole Gunnar Solsjaer, it’s just that the Norwegian coach cannot confirm whether Pogba can play later in the match.
“We hope he will be available, he trained this morning. We will see if there is any reaction when we report tomorrow,” said Solskjaer, as quoted by Goal International.
Meanwhile, defender Luke Shaw, who was also injured after defending the England national team at the international break yesterday, had to be out for a longer time, the fastest for four weeks.
“I hope it’s close to four weeks. But with a recurring hamstring injury, you can’t take risks and he’s not training with us.”
“We’ll see how he reacts to his program, the hope is four but maybe closer to five or six weeks,” said the tactician.
Furthermore, Solskjaer talked about Anthony Martial who recently lost his best touch.
“He was hit by a three-match ban, so he lost too many games, scored a goal against Basaksehir, a good header, and we hope he will continue to work hard to get back to his best again,” concluded Solskjaer.
For information, Martial himself has only scored two goals in the last eight matches in all competitions.
