Milan fans don’t need to worry, Franck Kessie will stay till next season

Inter Milan and Arsenal are touted as heavy interest in young Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie. However, the player’s Transfer Agent gives a signal that his client will stay at the San Siro next season.

Franck Kessie, 23, joined AC Milan in the 2017 summer transfer market, he was bailed out from Atalanta. Slowly but surely he began to play a crucial role in the Rossonerri midfield, especially since the arrival of Stefano Pioli.

Together with the Rossoneri, Franck Kessie’s performance has been fairly consistent so far. As a result, they are believed to be targeted by a number of European mid-table teams. So far, reportedly there are Arsenal and Inter Milan who are interested in getting the services of the 23-year midfielder.

There had been a concern in the hearts of AC Milan fans about the speculation, but George Atangana as the Transfer Agent the player could ensure that his client would not move.

“I remember when we joined Milan, they tried to gamble with us and we accepted them because this club had a great meaning for us,” George Atangana told Calciomercato.

In his further statement, what keeps the player going to stay at the San Siro is the fact that the club is building a big long-term project.

“At the moment there is a project being developed in this club. For this reason, I feel that his future is still with Rossonerri.” He said.

The Rossoneri themselves are indeed down, they have not even been able to compete in the hunt for tickets to the European Champions League. In contrast to Inter Milan who now seem to be able to compete with teams like Juventus and Lazio.

Atangana acknowledged that, but he saw the determination of AC Milan to rise, and his client would be one of the pillars of the revival.

“Today we strengthen one of the most important teams in the world. It is true that this club is not experiencing a moment of glory, but I see this team want to rise,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Italian Serie A stage itself is still suspended today because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The plan, a new competition rolling again in May.
