Mbappe hints interested in joining Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe recently was widely associated with Real Madrid, and interestingly the winger spread the code several times to the La Liga giants. The latest, he claimed to idolize two figures of the club legend.

As a player who was only 21 years old, Mbappe was among the best European young stars. Since moving from AS Monaco at the start of the 2017/18 season, the French national team winger has performed consistently and scored many goals for Les Parisiens.

Three French Ligue 1 trophies have been offered by Mbappe to Thomas Tuchel’s troops so far. In addition, he also showed its quality with the French national team. His contribution when Les Bleus won the world championship in 2018 cannot be underestimated.

It’s only natural when players like Mbappe are then attracted by clubs like Real Madrid.

Interestingly, several times the French player also gave signs that he was interested in moving closer to the Santiago Bernabeu. In fact, not long ago, Mbappe claimed to idolize two great Los Blancos legends, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane (now a Real Madrid coach).

“The first is Zidane for everything he achieved with the national team and the second is Ronaldo,” Kylian Mbappe told the Daily Mirror.

In his view, Zidane and Ronaldo are two figures who have carved his name on the Football history board.

“Ronaldo has won so many titles and continues to be a winner even after so many success stories. They both left their mark in history in football and I want to leave my own mark in the history book,” he said.

Furthermore, Mbappe talked about the Ballon d’Or trophy. Although he claimed to want to win the title, but the most important thing for him was achievement as a team.

“It would be nice to win Ballon d’Or,”

“But it’s not something that makes me unable to sleep at night. I don’t think I have to win it next season or the season after, I don’t have a specific target timing,” close Kylian Mbappe.

French Ligue 1 itself has been officially terminated due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and Paris Saint-Germain was officially named as the champion.
