Marc Marquez remains confident about the 9th world champion title
Repsol Honda Team rider Marc Marquez had to bury his dream of winning MotoGP 2020 after a prolonged arm injury that kept him out for most of the season. However, the Spanish rider remains confident about the chance of the 9th world title.
For information, so far the 27-year-old rider has collected eight world titles, six of which are MotoGP titles.
The person concerned was actually a superior in the 2020 MotoGP event, but after experiencing a terrible accident at the Spanish MotoGP in the first series, he was afflicted with a fracture of the humerus or right upper arm bone.
The injury sounded severe, but the operation went smoothly so it was predicted that it could return in no time. But his condition got even worse, the plate that was attached to Marc Marquez’s arm was damaged.
This condition made him return to the operating table and the recovery period lasted longer. In fact, Marc Marquez was not able to pave when the competition left one more series.
Marc himself is clearly disappointed by this fact, especially since the beginning he was so enthusiastic about this season’s campaign with the 9th world title.
“I don’t like to think about how I will celebrate the world title. I just start each season thinking about how to win. But I thought this year I would get a ninth title, I couldn’t,” he said.
Marc Marquez is now really focused on his recovery process and decided not to participate in the last MotoGP 2020 series in Portugal later.
The person concerned feels optimistic about the opportunities next season, where of course the competition will be more difficult than this season.
“We’ll see next year if I can win the title again, because I’ve worked hard to recover, although I’m sure the rivals will not make my plans easy to carry out,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the MotoGP campaign for the 2020 season was won by Rider Suzuki Elctar Joan Mir. The racer from Spain has collected the most podiums despite winning only once.
Whatever the result at the Portuguese GP tomorrow, Joan Mir remains at the top of the standings.
