Manchester United ensures Sanchez will stay permanently at Inter Milan
Manchester United through coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that one of their players, Alexis Sanchez, will immediately move permanently to Inter Milan this summer.
Over the past few days, speculation that Sanchez’s move from Old Trafford has continued to reverberate. The 31-year-old winger has spent the last season on loan at Inter and can be said to have proven his quality there.
Especially after the postponement of the competition, where Sanchez performed impressively, making coach Antonio Conte and Inter feel confident to buy it permanently.
However, this speculation had subsided due to Manchester United who put a price tag too high for the Chilean player.
However, coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer denied the news. In his interview after the victory over LASK in the Europa League, Solskjaer was able to confirm that Sanchez would join Inter Milan permanently.
“I can confirm that he has reached an agreement and we have agreed. Alexis is enjoying his time there,”
“They like him, so obviously this transfer is good for him. I wish him all the best. He is a top player, we want to see him play his best football.” said Solskjaer quoted from Sky Sports.
Actually, Sanchez is a reliable winger, at least that can be seen from his performance with Barcelona then Arsenal. But somehow his career at Manchester United seemed to fade so that the club loaned him to Inter Milan.
“For whatever reason, we could not see Alexis’ best game [at MU], but he is a professional and we only wish him the best,” he added.
It was stated that Sanchez would later receive some money for being willing to cancel his remaining two-year contract at Old Trafford. However, it is not yet known how much “Severance Pay” Sanchez will receive later.
On the other hand, Inter Milan through Club CEO Beppe Marotta has also confirmed the transfer of Sanchez. It’s just that the official announcement is just waiting for the right time.
Sanchez’s departure from Old Trafford automatically means the No. 7 is no longer under the owner. Reportedly the number will be used by the club’s new player, Jadon Sancho.
