Inter Milan defender, Stefan De Vrij claims that Romelu Lukaku has been very comfortable with his career with Inter Milan. In fact, according to him the Belgian players already feel like being at home.
The former Chelsea player was recruited by Inter Milan in the summer transfer market last year. The striker was brought in from Manchester United with a transfer fee of no less than 80 million pounds.
In the Italian Serie A, Lukaku is a newcomer, he has never experienced a career in an Italian club before. Nevertheless Lukaku did not need long to adapt.
This fact is evident from the notch 23 goals in 36 appearances for La Beneamata in all competitions this season. Together with Lautaro Martinez, he also formed a very strong duet on the Inter Milan front line.
Many were impressed by Lukaku’s quick adaptation, but Stefan De Vrij did not feel surprised because from the beginning the player had seemed at home with Inter Milan.
He is very nice, he feels like home here. He is always positive and tries to help the team,”
“He is very strong physically, he is fast and he scores a lot of goals. When I can, I look for it. We can all improve, including him.” De Vrij said to DAZN.
Through its relatively good performance, the Belgian National Team player managed to help Inter Milan perform better this season. We know exactly how Antonio Conte’s men can compete in the top flight of Serie A.
Furthermore, De Vrij spoke about another new recruit, Christian Eriksen who joined last winter from Tottenham Hotspur.
According to him, the Danish National Team midfielder is a good player and will develop over time.
Eriksen will be the decisive figure. He is getting used to new things and continues to learn Italian,”
“We can all see in the training session he was truly extraordinary. He has great quality and we will see that soon in the field,” he continued.
