Luka Modric gave up his future at Real Madrid
Croatian midfielder Luka Modric hopes to survive at the Santiago Bernabeu until hanging up his boots. However, he realized that this did not depend entirely on his wishes. Therefore, Modric resigned to the decision of Real Madrid.

He will also soon be in the final year of his contract with Real Madrid, where the contract will expire in the summer of 2021.
Although there has not been any discussion regarding a new contract, it is not impossible that Real Madrid will retain Luka Modric, because the midfielder is already aging.
Modric himself is aware of this, but he feels that he can still play at a high level for the next two years. He wants to retire as a Real Madrid player, but completely surrenders his fate to the club.
“I’m sure I can play at a high level for two more years. I want to be able to end my career at Real Madrid, but that also depends on the club. Modric said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The last two seasons, Luka Modric has often been a subject of discussion in European media. The former Tottenham Hotspur was once linked with an Italian Serie A club, AC Milan. Responding to these rumors, Modric himself claimed he was never interested in leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.
“AC Milan? When you arrive at Real Madrid, it’s hard to think of going anywhere else. If things don’t go well in Madrid, I will see myself in Serie A,” he said.
Although there is no new contract for Modric, but the fact is the player is still a mainstay of manager Zinedine Zidane until now.
