Juventus reject Barcelona’s offer for Bernardeschi
Barcelona’s hope of being able to get the eccentric winger from Italy, Federico Bernardeschi is certain to break up halfway. Juventus as the owner of the player is reported to have refused an offer from the Catalan giants submitted since the beginning of this winter.
For information, over the past few weeks Barcelona has been actively associated with several player names, Federico Bernadeschi is one of them. The Italian national team player was reportedly targeted by Barca to strengthen their attack line after the injury suffered by Luis Suarez. The player is believed to be filling Griezmann’s post, while the French player will play as a lone striker.
On the one hand, it was heard that the former Fiorentina player had welcomed the offer from the defending La Liga champions. He wants to leave after he is no longer the first choice in the squad made by Maurizio Sarri. This situation makes the Catalan giant more confident moving forward to get the services of the winger.
According to a report released by the Daily Mail, Barcelona have even made an official offer to Juventus since the beginning of this winter. Unfortunately, the offer was not heeded by Juventus. The same report claims that Barcelona proposed a trade-in scheme to sign Bernardeschi’s signature.
Quique Setien’s troops knew very well that Juventus really wanted their midfielder Ivan Rakitic for the past few years. Therefore, Barcelona who do not rely on Croatian players will submit a trade offer. Ivan Rakitic plus 8.5 million Pounds in cash, so Juve is willing to release the attacking midfielder.
Unfortunately, the offer was again refused by Juventus. It is believed that Juve Management actually does not mind releasing Bernardeschi. But the offer from Barcelona was considered still too small. Juventus are only willing to release Bernadeschi if his bid reaches 17 million pounds plus Ivan Rakitic.
Obviously this is not an easy requirement for Barcelona, but they must move quickly. Because the winter transfer market will be closed in less than one week, so they must move quickly or maybe they can consider other options.
