Bad luck experienced by the Belgian striker, Eden Hazard related to his career in this 2019/20 season. Not having had the best performance with Real Madrid, the 28-year-old has had to pull out because of a severe injury. The estimated recovery is 3 months!
Hazard, who was bought from Chelsea last summer, was pulled over because of an injury. He missed many matches from November to February. Then the Belgian recorded his comeback in the match against Celta Vigo two weeks ago.
After descending as a substitute in the match, Hazard was then trusted to play as a starter in the next match against Levante last weekend. Unfortunately, the former Lille player was injured again.
The medical test results announced by Real Madrid showed that the player suffered an injury to his right foot fibula.
“After examining our player Eden Hazard today by Real Madrid Medical Services, he was diagnosed with a distal fibula fracture injury on the right side. Observations continue to be made “the official statement of Real Madrid.
Unfortunately the Real Madrid did not explain how long Hazard had to be absent because of the injury. Local media believe that it took Hazard two months to pull over because of the injury.
However, Belgian National Team coach Roberto Martinez provided even worse news. He said that Hazard needed the least three months to recover from this injury.
“We are very sad, because this injury will keep him out for at least three months. A footballer like Eden must always be on the field. We have very good communication with Real Madrid medical staff and we are worried about Eden. This is unfortunate, because it also happened before an important match like that of Manchester City “Martinez said.
Hazard’s injury is clearly a major blow to Real Madrid. Noted, the new Belgian player appeared in 15 matches this season by packing 1 goal and 1 assist only. Ironically, Real Madrid lost the match against Levante yesterday.
