Jadon Sancho claimed almost joined Real Madrid
Sergio Santos, as a US journalist, revealed the fact that Jadon Sancho, who was recently discussed by European media, was actually close to 2017 in Real Madrid.
Previously, please note that Jadon Sancho is a Manchester City academy player who then began promotion to the first team since the 2016/17 season. Unfortunately, even Jadon Sancheo never got a chance to play in the Pep Guardiola landing team.
As a result, the British national team players decided to leave the Etihad Stadium, by accepting proposals from Bourssia Dortmund in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Jadon Sancho’s decision proved right, he has now managed to become one of Europe’s best young players, performing brilliantly along with Borussia Dortmund.
However, the story could have been different if only Jadon Sancho accepted an offer from Real Madrid, because at that time Los Blancos also made an offer to the winger. He even got to the club’s training ground to see Los Blancos facilities.
“Sancho just wants to be the main player, playing from the first minute. Real Madrid really want Jadon Sancho. They sent Jose Angel to monitor him personally and offer him to bring him to Real Madrid,”
“Sancho’s father has come to Madrid. They saw the club’s training facilities, “Sergio Santos told La Futboler quoted from the US.
Unfortunately, Real Madrid cannot promise or guarantee more minutes to play to the player. While Jadon Sancho left Manchester City because he wanted to get more minutes to play, that’s why he rejected the offer of Los Blancos.
“Jadon Sancho wants to train with the first team and play with the first team. The club wants him to go down to the Castilla team. This is to be similar to Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Junior and that is the club’s policy,”
“Sancho then chose Dortmund because the club gave him number 7 and he is projected to replace Ousmane Dembele,” Sergio Santos said
In this season’s campaign, Jadon Sancho has 17 goals and 16 assists from Borussia Dortmund. No wonder he is in demand by a number of European giants including Manchester United.
