Inter Milan through its sporting director, Giuseppe Marotta, confirmed that Mauro Icardi would not move to Juventus in the transfer market this summer. Not only that, he also mentioned the speculation that Inter will make an exchange between Icardi and Dybala is a hoax.
Icardi’s name cannot be removed just like that, he became a crucial player in the last few seasons, and his goal record is proof that he is a player who deserves to be maintained in the main squad of Inter Milan.
But the issue claiming Icardi’s relationship with Inter officials is not good recently, Antonio Conte as the new Inter coach also stated that he is ready to release the Argentine striker this summer.
Marotta actually provided information that Icardi and midfielder Radja Nainggolan were not included in the Nerazzurri’s plans for the 2019-2020 season. And the name of Juventus here is one of the clubs who are interested in accommodating it if they don’t get trust anymore.
Defending champions of Italian Serie A eight times in a row did show their interest in Icardi. But the Argentina national team player will certainly not dock at Juventus in this 2019 summer transfer market.
“In the meantime I can only give the fact that Icardi moved to Juventus, because the conditions for him to do that were not there,” wrote Marotta on Inter’s official website.
Marotta is known to be former of the Juventus sporting director, so that it can be said to be very close to what happened, and certainly knows how Paolo Dybala is. Although until now it still sounds that there is a chance for an exchange between Icardi and Dybala.
“The good thing about talking about the questions that will happen, now is a utopia to think about the possibility of exchanging players with Dybala. He is a good player, but exchange is not something we imagined. We are currently sitting at the window and watching what will happen, “concluded Marotta.
