Inter Milan had done everything to beat Barcelona

 

Samir Handanovic as the goalkeeper and Inter Milan captain asked his team-mates not to bemoan the defeat of Barcelona earlier this morning. Despite the remorse, he said the Nerazzurri had done everything they could to win and qualify for the knockout stages.

As is known, Inter Milan did face Barcelona in the final match of the European Champions League group stage. In that match, Inter Milan are required to win, while Barcelona on one hand is a team that has certainly passed the last 16 with the status of group winners.

The target is indeed winning, and that has been shown by Inter Milan since the first minute of the match at the San Siro, but Antonio Conte’s care team is actually humiliated by Barcelona who play many young players with a score of 1-2.

Carles Perez managed to make the San Siro public silenced through his goal in the 23rd minute, then Romelu Lukaku equalized before the first half ended. However, he asked the Inter Milan players not to sink into this disappointment.

We still have two games left before the winter break, so it’s important that we charge the batteries again before moving forward,”
