Inter Milan recently released its first training activity under the tutelage of Antonio Conte. This interesting agenda turned out to make a lot of people surprised, because there was a victim in training method applied by Conte.
The victim meant here is Inter player named Matteo Politano. According to a trusted source, this former Sassuolo player suffered a thigh injury and it is not yet known when he can return after undergoing treatment at the Inter Medical canter hall.
“@MPolitano16 underwent a medical test at Instituto Humanitas, Rozzano. Based on the results of the examination, the player experiences tension in the thigh section. The condition will continue to be evaluated on a daily basis,” Inter wrote on its official website.
Inter’s first training schedule under Conte has just been held on Monday, July 8, 2019. In this training session, Conte held a closed training session and no outsiders including local media could get resources.
Politano himself is a new one-season player with Inter, he was brought in in the 2018 season from Sassuolo and was included as a crucial player with 48 appearances in all competitions and bagging six goals and eight assists.
His impressive appearance turned out to make the Inter brave enough to make a decision bravely to make Politano’s status permanent. This certainty happened after Inter poured funds of 20 million euros to Sassuolo to get Politano’s signature in the 2019 summer transfer market.
This situation certainly interfered with Inter’s preparations in the pre-season, injuries received by Politano could have made his chances of being small enough to get into Inter’s main squad. Conte had to turn his mind to find a replacement to undergo a series of International Champions Cup matches which will be held at the end of July 2019.
Inter’s closest test match schedule is against Lugano, which was held on Sunday, July 14, 2019. It didn’t stop there, a few days later they will continue their trip to Singapore to fight Manchester United six days later.
Manchester United are not the only big opponents of Inter Milan in this event, it is known that there are also names such as Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur that could be against Inter. Ahead of the 2019-2020 season, Inter face Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium in August 2019 or can be called the final testing ground.
