Hansi Flick finally confirmed Thiago Alcantara’s exit
Midfielder Thiago Alcantara’s departure from Bayern Munich this summer has certainly happened, as confirmed by coach Hansi Flick.
For information, the Spanish National Team player is actually still under a one-year contract at Bayern. The Bavarian club actually still wanted to use his services and cast a new contract, but the player refused.
In other words, Thiago Alcantara intends to find new challenges in his career after 7 years of defending Die Roten.
Later, his future has continued to be linked with last season’s Premier League champions, Liverpool. However, the Marseyside Team has reportedly never opened transfer negotiations with Bayern.
The situation has led to new speculation claiming that Thiago Alcantara has a chance to stay at Bayern for another season, exhausting his contract.
However, since last Thursday (17/09) news emerged that Liverpool had reached an agreement with Bayern. They agreed to pay 20 million Pounds for the midfielder, with an additional 5 million Pounds as a conditional bonus.
Not only that, Thiago Alcantara has reportedly agreed a four-season contract at the Allianz Arena. At Liverpool later, the 29-year-old player will wear jersey number 6.
Although there has been no official confirmation from the two parties, the Flick hansi coach can confirm that the club and Thiago will indeed separate.
“Thiago is an extraordinary player who spent seven very successful years here. He is an extraordinary person and an extraordinary professional. Today was very emotional when he said goodbye to all of us,” he said, as reported by Bayern’s official Twitter account.
Journalist Bild previously leaked news that Bayern Munich had reached an agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of the former Barcelona player.

For information, Thiago Alcantara joined Bayern since 2013. He is a mainstay midfielder who last season helped lead Die Roten to win the Treble winner.
