Gareth Bale Ensures Will Return to Real Madrid Next Season
Tottenham Hotspur fans seem to have to be prepared for “heartbreak” because Gareth Bale is unlikely to last long at White Hart Lane. The player himself said that once his loan period ended, he would return to Real Madrid.
In fact, Gareth Bale’s situation at Real Madrid was not exactly ‘ordinary’. In fact, many reports called him very unhappy for several reasons, including the lack of opportunity to play.
In the end, last summer Bale actually left the Santiago Bernabeu to join his former club, Tottenham Hotspur. However, the move was not permanent, but only as a loan for a season.
Initially, Bale had difficulty performing well at Tottenham, but over time his performance continued to improve and is now really a mainstay of Jose Mourinho on the Spurs front lines.
His increasingly good form has led to speculation that Bale will remain at Tottenham Hotspur permanently and of course the Spurs fans also expect the same.
However, the interesting part of the Wales National Team Winger even said that he would return to Real Madrid’s arms once his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur ended in the summer.
In his statement, Bale admitted that his return to White Hart Lane was to get minutes to play.
“First and foremost I came to Spurs this year so I can get playing time. I want to be in a fit condition at the Euros. So my initial plan was to get playing time at Spurs,” said Bale.
Previously, it should be noted that currently Bale is still a Real Madrid player, where his contract with Los Blancos still has one year left.
Although not necessarily getting a new contract from Los Blancos, Bale still wants to return to the club and live out the rest of his contract there.
“I still have a one-year contract at Real Madrid. So it is my plan so far I will return there after the Euros,” he said.
Currently, Bale has indeed returned to his country to prepare to play at the upcoming International break.
