Fully recovered, Hazard determines to get Real Madrid back on track
Eden Hazard has finally recovered from the injury that kept him out for the past two months. Now, the former Chelsea star is determined to get Real Madrid back on track.
Real Madrid itself won in the El Clasico match at the Camp Nou last weekend. However, the fact is that the overall performance of Zidane’s troops tends to be inconsistent.
In fact, before the match against Barcelona, Los Blancos had lost to teams from nowhere like Shakhtar Donetsk and Cadiz. Then, Madrid recorded bad results again when they visited Borussia Moenchengladbach.
In the match titled the second week of the European Champions League Group preliminary round, Madrid was only able to draw 2-2, even being two goals behind.
Although it was disappointing, there was at least one good news received by the fans, namely the return of the club’s new idol Eden Hazard.
Yes, after being sidelined for two months due to injury, the Belgian finally recovered and played again in yesterday’s match, although not in full.
Hazard himself admitted that he was happy with his return, and he was determined to get Madrid back on the right track.
“I’m here to play, so after two or three months not on the pitch I feel very happy. I just want to play. That’s why I’m here,” Hazard told CBS.
In the match against Germany’s representatives yesterday, Hazard himself was only deployed in the 70th minute to replace Vinicius Jr. Even though he didn’t score in that match, his presence improved Real Madrid’s overall performance.
In fact, since Hazard’s entry, Real Madrid have only been able to score two goals in return which could at least prevent them from losing a second.
“It was like three points, but not three points. We have shown good character because we were 0-2 down, five minutes remaining, I think we can score one more goal,”
“I could score one more goal, but I missed it, but it feels like three points, like a win,” concluded the 29-year-old man.
