George Alaba as David Alaba’s biological father gave a firm rebuttal regarding speculation that his son had reached an agreement with Real Madrid to move closer to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Based on recent rumors, David Alaba is said to be planning to leave Bayern Munich in the transfer market next summer.
This issue is getting closer to reality following the midfielder’s contract which has not been extended, even though it will end soon at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The future of the player has also begun to be discussed in European media. He continues to be linked with a number of European giants such as Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid. The last club is claimed to be the most likely to get David Alaba’s services.
In fact, based on the latest rumors circulating, David Alaba has reached a personal agreement with Real Madrid, to join the Santiago Bernabeu for nothing this summer.
But this claim was hastily denied by his father, George Alaba. He can confirm that his son hasn’t made any decisions regarding his future on the pitch so far.
“For now he has not made a decision regarding his future,” Alaba told Sport1.
Furthermore, George Alaba admits that many clubs are interested in his son, but so far no decision has been made, including for an offer from Real Madrid.
“David has not agreed to join Real. Apart from Real, there are many clubs who are interested in him.” He said.
Not without reason, George Alaba can ensure that his son is currently really focused on his performance with Bayern Munich, helping the club end the season with the best results.
“For him, the most important thing now is to fully concentrate on Bayern and also maintain his performance.” he said.
Previously, there were rumors of Real Madrid’s interest in Alaba. Especially on the one hand, Los Blancos are also threatened with losing their two senior players, Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos.
David Alaba himself is a versatile player, he can play several positions including central midfielder, defensive midfielder and a defender.
He has been part of Bayern Munich since 2010 and so far has collected more than 400 appearances in all competitions.
