After the Catalunya series, MotoGP Riders are currently preparing to undergo the French Grand Prix which will be held at the Le Mans Circuit, 11 October. Of course, the Petronas Yamaha SRT Team Rider Fabio Quartararo is the most enthusiastic in welcoming this series.
The reason is, the 21-year-old Rider is indeed from France, which means he will act at his own “home” in the eighth series of MotoGP this season.
In fact, it’s very rare for riders to have the opportunity to play on their own ‘Home’, so Fabio Quartararo is determined to win at the Le Mans Circuit later.
Moreover, considering the fact that he was the fastest racer in the previous series at Barcelona.
“I am very happy to have a home draw this year, and it feels really special to be there as leaders of the table. Le Mans is a track I really like. It will be important whether we fight for the win and get as many points as possible,” he said.
In the 2019 season campaign yesterday, Quartararo actually got disappointing results at the Le Mans Circuit. Starting in 10th position, the man born in Nice was only able to finish in 8th position.
Quartararo admitted that his performance at Le Mans last season was disappointing, so this time his determination is to be the fastest.
“Usually I do well at Le Mans. I finished eighth last year but the race was very fast and I hope to continue the good form from Barcelona this weekend,” he said.
Furthermore, Fabio Quartararo responded to the permission given by the local government to bring 5,000 spectators to the stands of the Le Mans Circuit later.
“I hope that fans are allowed to come with warmers because at this time the weather is very cold! I am very happy to have a home series, considering there are not many races this year,” he concluded.
Rider nicknamed El Diablo is currently still leading the MotoGP standings with a score of 108 points. This position was achieved thanks to victories in the first 2 Series this season and the 7th series in Barcelona.
