Fabinho still had difficulty adapting to Liverpool’s style

Brazilian National Team midfielder, Fabinho admitted he still had difficulty adapting to Liverpool’s style of football or English football in general, along with his move to Anfield in the summer transfer window this year. According to Fabinho, there is a very significant difference between French and England football, so he hopes to adapt quickly.

As is known, Fabinho is Liverpool’s first recruit in the summer transfer market this year, as he was redeemed from AS Monaco by pocketing around 30 million euros. Of course, with the fact that he did not participate in the Brazilian National Team in the 2018 World Cup yesterday, the 24-year-old player joined faster with the pre-season concentration center which was done by Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

The fact is, Fabinho still not able to appear together, he is not even revealed in the latest Liverpool match in the Premier League match against Brighton and Hove Albion. Related to this, the former AS Monaco player was aware that he still could not adapt to English football.

“I realized the playing style is different from Monaco. There are two midfielders there, while here usually play three midfielders. My partner in the midst of guiding me and moving. Likewise defense. I know, that will change and I feel that I have adapted well. You seek guidance from other players around you and it works very well. I feel my performance in preseason is pretty good.”

“Although the system is a little different, but there still have some similarities. The transition made by Monaco is like Liverpool. I think, these two teams can be compared from this one aspect: both are very fast in making the transition, with the nimble players in front. I hope to adapt as soon as possible. I will give everything,” said Fabinho.
