Eden Hazard said he wants to have Lionel Messi’s left foot
Lionel Messi is one of the best left-footed players in recent years, maybe even in football history. No wonder many covet the Barcelona superstar’s left foot, including Eden Hazard.
Meanwhile, Hazard himself has been recognized as one of the best players in recent years. His performance with the Belgian National Team and also Chelsea provoked a lot of praise from various circles.
At its peak, Hazard was redeemed by Real Madrid in the 2019 summer transfer market for 100 million Euros. However, his decision to join Los Blancos did not necessarily improve his performance.
On the contrary, Hazard has often been injured since joining Real Madrid, which has hampered his development. The player is even considered unable to meet the expectations of the Los Blancos fans.
But regardless, Hazard is still a great player and as a great player he has idols in the sport. Hazard claims to have three figures that he idolizes, including Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane.
So, in order to celebrate his 30th birthday, Hazard also hopes to get gifts from the three figures. Especially for Messi, what he wants is his left foot.
“His left foot,” Hazard replied to RTBF when asked which part of Messi he would like to have as a birthday present for him.
“His hunger for winning, his hunger for trophies and his desire to always score goals,” said Hazard when asked what he wanted from Ronaldo’s game.
As for Zinedine Zidane, Hazard hopes to become a more classy figure like the French legend who is now his coach at Real Madrid.
“His class. Even though I’m already classy, right? However, he is more classy,” Hazard replied.
Zidane himself has decided to hang up his shoes since 2010. During his career he has won all trophies at the national team and club level, including the 1998 World Cup trophy and the European Champions League with Madrid in the 2001/02 season.
