The distance of two points with Barcelona as the top of the standings successfully defended well by Real Madrid after the victory over Eibar. Despite winning convincingly in the party, captain Sergio Ramos admitted that his team’s performance was still not optimal.
As is known, last weekend became the first match of Real Madrid after the suspension which lasted for the last three months. Playing at home against Eibar, Zinedine Zidane’s troops managed to win with a landslide score of 3-1.

This victory is clearly important for Zinedine Zidane’s troops, because the two-point gap with Barcelona is maintained. Even so, captain Sergio Ramos considers that his team’s performance is still not satisfactory.
“The team played as well as we could and we could not maintain the same intensity for 90 minutes. We played well in the first half, and that was seen with a 3-0 lead at the break. With a distance of two points, Real Madrid should still be able to win the top of the standings, but the conditions they must win the remaining 10 matches, and hope Barcelona also slipped,” he told reporters from Diario AS.
Because of this, Sergio Ramos promises consistent performance for the rest of the season.
“We will return to our level, but we have 10 finals to play, and we will try to win it all,” said Ramos.
Next, Real Madrid will face a tougher party, their opponent is Valencia. The game is planned to be rolling on Friday at the next WIB, June 19, 2020.
