Defeated by Spain, this is the reaction of the German national team coach

The German National Team was surprisingly defeated by a landslide score of 0-6 to Spain at the meeting in the UEFA Nations League. So, what did coach Joachim Low say about the terrible defeat his squad suffered?

As is known, Spain and Germany faced each other in the UEFA Nations League continued on Wednesday morning WIB (18/11).

The duel itself took place quite fiercely from the first minute, considering that both teams were both strong and carried similar playing styles.

But no one predicted Spain could win with a score of half a dozen like that. Moreover, Germany itself played with its best strength from the first minute.

Feran Torres became the main star of Spain’s victory through his hatrick. While the other three goals were scored by Alvaro Morata, Rodri and Mikel Oyarzabal.

In fact, it is Germany’s biggest defeat in almost 90 years and it is the biggest loss in competitive arena. When speaking after the match, coach Joachim Low could not escape his team’s poor performance.

Low only said that Germany’s performance in the match was very poor, nothing went according to plan from the first minute.

“It’s a very bad day for us, nothing is going right. Nothing can be seen on the pitch in terms of our body language, the way we carry ourselves and how we deal with duels,”

“Everything went wrong, both in defense and in attack. After conceding the first goal, we immediately lost control of our tactics.” said Loew quoted from the DFB.

Furthermore, Low said that actually after Spain’s first goal scored by Alvaro Morata, his team tried to retaliate, but forgot to hold on to such a loss.

“We pounded forward and created a lot of free space. Our game was not coherent and we didn’t communicate well, which was a fatal mistake,”

“We could not control the match and did not win any duel. Tonight was a backlash for us. We have to analyze it and see if we can make an assessment,” he concluded.
