Declan Rice chose to stay loyal to West Ham and reject MU

West Ham United’s Wonderkid, Declan Rice has made Manchester United’s side feel disappointed. This news cornered his name about the Red Devils’ interest in him, but Declan Rice insisted he was loyal to West Ham.

Declan Rice has become the target of many big English clubs, including Manchester United, after consistently showing their fine performances in the last two seasons. In the last 2018/19 season, Declan Rice recorded 34 appearances in the Premier League and it means he was only absent in four matches.

Declan Rice emerged as the figure of England’s future player as a defensive midfielder. Evidently on various opportunities, Declan Rice was included in Gareth Southgate’s plan to fill the England national midfield.

For his achievements, Declan Rice’s name was included as a candidate to win the 2019 PFA Young Player of the Year, who was forced to turn away from him, because it was won by Raheem Sterling. Now amidst the development of his career, Declan Rice insists he still wants to help West Ham work better next season.

“Alright, everything works just fine. I know about speculation that is developing now, but this season I signed a new five-year contract with West Ham, so my focus is entirely on playing for West Ham,” said Declan Rice.

The Red Devils offer is actually not a small thing for any player, because if Declan Rice accepts the offer, we can be sure that the salary and compensation given by West Ham will increase even higher if he is with the Red Devils.

But unfortunately, the aura of luxury that could have been accepted by him from Manchester United, did not shake off the love of Declan Rice with West Ham, and the fans who always faithfully supported him in every match.

“My relationship with the fans is very great. They love me, I love them, and that’s what happens now. I don’t think about anything else, “concluded Declan Rice.

Declan Rice is officially included in the England national team squad which will compete in the UEFA Nations League event. The European League will be officially held at the end of next week, and see the opportunity of Declan Rice, then the hope appears to be a core player.

Next week’s England match schedule is against the Netherlands, if Declan Rice gets the trust of Gareth Southgate to become a core player, then Declan Rice will be fully prepared as he looks forward to his duel with Frenkie De Jong, Barcelona’s latest signing this season.

“De Jong has moved to Barcelona and it is indeed very feasible. He is a top player, I think you have seen it in the Champions League and it would be great to fight it in the UEFA Nations League, “said Declan Rice.
