Thibaut Courtois brought good news before the Spanish La Liga competition was rolled out again this season. Newer player Eden Hazard is fit and claims to be ready to play the remaining 11 games with Los Blancos.
The 29-year-old playmaker joined Real Madrid last summer. Too bad his debut season at Real Madrid was tinged with bad luck. Hazard was hit by three different injuries, the last being the most severe, with ex Chelsea suffering from a fibula fracture.
In fact, the injury suffered by Hazard in February made Hazard predicted to not be able to play again until this season’s campaign ends.
But, as is known the covid-19 pandemic has caused soccer competitions in Europe to be suspended for the past three months, so that Hazard is recovering right when the competition will be held again.
Sure enough, the plan for the Spanish La Liga will be held starting June 12, 2020 or this weekend, along with Hazard is already in a condition that is fit and ready to play. This is confirmed by Thibaut Courtois who claimed to be surprised to see the current condition of the player.
“Eden Hazard is in very good condition and really surprised me,” Thibaut Courtois was quoted as saying from the US.
Because of these conditions, Hazard himself is considered not able to meet public expectations. However, Courtois believes that his compatriots can immediately find the right rhythm.
“Eden Hazard is building a rhythm, but it must be step by step. You can see him back in form, and we need him to compete for the title,” said the former Chelsea goalkeeper.
Speaking of La Liga, Real Madrid are still two points behind Barcelona at the top of the standings. Courtois admitted it was strange seeing this fact because his team had defeated his rival before.
“This is my personal opinion, it would feel strange if we were inferior to them because we defeated them, even after that we lost to Real Betis. I think, we are good enough for the title, “he said.
Real Madrid itself will face Eibar at the 28th Jornada, the match was held at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, on 15 June.
