Conte: Hopefully Lukaku’s injury is not that serious

Unfortunately, the fate of Inter Milan, in addition to just pocketing one point from the match against Hellas Verona yesterday, the Nerazzurri are also threatened to lose Romelu Lukaku for the rest of the season.

Inter Milan play away at the 31st Giornata in Italian Serie A in the early morning hours (10/07). Faced with Hellas Verona, the Nerazzurri actually carried the winning mission after previously surrendering defeat at the hands of Bologna.

However, the expected results did not occur, the match in fact only produced one point for Inter after only ending in a 2-2 draw.

In fact, the visitors had left earlier through a goal by Darko Lazovic. Inter had indeed reversed their position through Antonio Candreva’s goal and Federico Dimarco’s suicide. But unfortunately, Veloso scored a goal at the end of the fight that frustrated Conte’s men.

The draw was clearly disappointing, but far more alarming seeing the condition of the mainstay attacker, Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian national team player suffered a serious injury because he had to be pulled out in the 76th minute.

After the match, coach Antonio Conte tried to explain Lukaku’s brief condition, which turned out to have a muscle problem. The interpreter hopes that Lukaku will recover quickly, so he can still play for the rest of the season.

“He has a problem with his adductor. We hope this is not a serious problem, Romelu is an important player for us, “Conte told Sky Sports Italia.

Furthermore, the former Chelsea coach talked about Christian Eriksen, who he sent down before the game ended. According to Conte, the Danish national team player must be placed in the right position and time.

As for Eriksen, he has been playing regularly since the restart, he grew up and I try to put him in the context that suits him, “he continued.

Lately, Inter Milan has become a topic of discussion regarding the fate of Alexis Sanchez. Concluding his performance this season, the Nerazzurri are said to be not interested in extending the loan period of the Chilean players.

However, coach Antonio Conte could not talk much when he got questions about the former Barcelona.

“I don’t want to talk about next year, now there is a season to finish and then we will do an evaluation,” Conte said.
