Clash Between Spain Vs Morocco May Not be a “One-sided Match”
No doubt, titleholder of the World Cup 2010, Spain had an ignominious exist in the following series. Therefore, the opportunity is knocking at their door for compensating the loss made in the previous fixtures. Of course, the prowess of the star players of the team should not go to their head in undermining the talent of Morocco’s squad. With the international experience besides being the captain of the African Cup of Nations, 2017, the skill of the team should be taken seriously when on the field.
The squad can boast of some star players with them no doubt. The dependable players with their agile movements on the field would be a tough fight for any rival team in the ensuing summer at Russia FIFA World Cup 2018.
No doubt, there is a matching replacement of Xavi Hernandez, when Andres Iniesta is associated with the squad. We need to wait and watch whether the leader will be able to take the team to a glorifying level in his last tournament at the international level. The display of his talent with the ball even at the age of 34 is a point of emulation for the youngsters.
Another threat to the opponents is David de Gea who can display his dominance when on the field. This will make the position hard for the rival team in achieving their objective.
The central attacking midfielder Isco and the captain Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid) would be backing up the entire team.
No doubt many were surprised with shock when Julen Lopetegui was replaced a couple of days prior to the opening match of World Cup 2018. The unexpected mantle fell on Fernando Hierro who has 29 goals in his kitty. We need to watch how the coach would harness the experience of being the captain of the Spanish team in the series of 1994, 1998 and 2002.
It would be interesting to watch Morocco as to how they take advantage of coming back to the World Cup stage after two decades. The coach should be able to tap the young talent of the squad.
The football lovers would be anxiously waiting for the play of the Ajax midfielder Hakim Ziyech and Younes Belhanda.
It is also curious how the play of Ziyech would be especially when he returned to the team after making a truce with the coach Gerve Renard.
No doubt, it would be unfair if you do not accord credit to the coach for instilling not only the flair for the game but also the discipline in the team players.
In all fairness, you cannot tick-off Morocco, and you should wait and watch if the Spain squad would be able to dominate in crushing the rivals on 25th June 2018.
