Bruno Fernandes will be a crucial player for MU
Manchester United legend, Roy Keane seemed very satisfied with the performance of the new Red Devils midfielder, Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese player is believed to be a crucial figure at MU.
Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester United in the winter transfer window last January. The Portuguese playmaker was bailed out by Sporting Lisbon with a tag price of 55 million Euros.
At first he was doubtful, but in the end the doubts were silenced through the slick performance on the field. So far, he has recorded three goals and two assists from six matches in all competitions for the Red Devils.
Most recently, Bruno Fernandes scored a spectacular goal against Everton last weekend that saved Manchester United from defeat.
Related to the slick performance of the player, MU legend Roy Keane sent flattery to the player. According to him, the playmaker could be a crucial figure for the Red Devils.
“I think the signs he showed were very good. Fernandes’ presence on this team had a big impact. He has become a differentiator for this team,” said Keane to Sky Sports.
Furthermore, the former Manchester United captain considered that Solskjaer’s troops had shown a good performance recently. Therefore, he appealed to the players to maintain that momentum.
“United are building momentum now and they just need to continue that.” he said.
In the match against Everton yesterday, Manchester United initially fell behind. Ironically, they were left behind due to fatal blunders made by goalkeeper David De Gea.
Fortunately Bruno Fernandes, the Portugal midfielder, scored a spectacular goal that draw 1-1. With that draw, it means Manchester United are unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions.
The details are they won five wins and three draws. One point won also did not necessarily change the position in the standings. They are still in 5th place, with three points behind the top four occupied by Chelsea.
Besides Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United also brought Odion Ighalo last winter.
