Andrea Pirlo happy Cristiano Ronaldo return to play
Juventus tactician, Andrea Pirlo can finally breathe a sigh of relief regarding the return of the club frontman, Cristiano Ronaldo. Moreover, after the Portuguese mega star became the hero of the club’s victory over Spezia last weekend.
In the match which was held on Sunday (01/11) at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi, Juve did win first thanks to Alvaro Morata’s goal. However, 18 minutes later the hosts were able to reply through a goal by Tommaso Pobega.
In the second half of the match, Pirlo finally fielded Cristiano Ronaldo, who had gone through a number of matches due to being infected with the Corona virus. Only three minutes after the second half rolled around, the former Madrid immediately scored a goal that gave Juve a 2-1 lead.
Adrien Rabiot added to Juventus’ lead in the 67th minute, before Ronaldo finally confirmed the tripoin with a penalty in the last minute of the match.
Obviously this victory made manager Andrea Pirlo look very happy. He was also grateful that the return of Cristiano Ronaldo really had a significant impact on the team’s performance.
