Alexis Sanchez finally confirmed will stay at Inter Milan
Alexis Sanchez is confirmed to stay at Inter Milan next season after the Italian Serie A giants redeem him permanently from Manchester United. The Chilean player claims to be very happy with this agreement.
Previously, it should be noted that Sanchez himself was recruited by Manchester United from Arsenal in January 2018. The hope is that the former Barcelona player can shine like when he was still defending the London club.
However, he failed to live up to expectations, even being only able to score three goals in the Premier League during one and a half seasons to defend MU.
Due to his performance that did not match these expectations, Sanchez was loaned to Inter since last summer. In Italy, he was disturbed by injuries, but since the turn of the year, his performance has been immediately impressive with Inter Milan.
Coach Antonio Conte and Inter Milan management finally agreed to sign Sanchez permanently. This agreement was then confirmed by Manchester United through Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s statement.
Speaking of his move, the former Barcelona star cannot help but feel happy.
Sanchez could not hide his joy after being confirmed to join Inter permanently.
“Hello Inter fans. I am very, very happy to be here with you,” said Sanchez in a video uploaded to Inter’s official Twitter account.
From the start, Sanchez had hoped this agreement would be reached because he felt at home with Inter Milan. The former Udinese player is also determined to bring the club to the championship titles.
“I think I desire to stay because I have found a family, within the staff and everyone who wants to fight and win something for this club,”
“I’m hungry and want to win something, that’s why I’m very happy to be here, with you, to win something,” he said.
While defending Inter Milan this season, Sanchez has made 29 appearances with 4 goals and 9 assists.
Sanchez also played a role in the success of Inter Milan stepping into the quarter-finals of the Europa League after defeating Getafe in the middle of last week. Du the last eight, Inter will face Bayer Leverkusen.
