AC Milan ready to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko on a permanent contract

Legend who also served as director of AC Milan, Paolo Maldini did not want to cover up what was experienced by Tiemoue Bakayoko who was known to have difficulty adapting at the San Siro. However, Maldini wants to give fresh air to fans that Milan will struggle to defend the player next season.

Bakayoko came from Chelsea to Milan on loan at the beginning of this season. Bakayoko was not included in the plans of the team made by Maurizio Sarri, so Milan were interested in taking him to the Italian Serie A. The Bakayoko season with Milan was a little slow, although in the end he was able to play well.

In the meantime, the temporary status of Bakayoko with Milan will end this season. Where both parties have not been discussed and are still hanging. So far, Bakayoko is still struggling in the arena of self-proof by competing with Lucas Biglia and Franck Kessie to get a place in midfield.

Word emerged that Bakayoko was ready to be sold in the transfer market last January, but all turned away from that status because the injury suffered by Biglia was able to be utilized by Bakayoko. Slowly, Bakayoko was able to get the heart of Gennaro Gattuso by becoming a starter until now.

“The character of Bakayoko is very good. He didn’t start a career here very well and has to adapt to things that are different from what he usually does. It’s nice to have a player like him and we will try hard to keep him,” Maldini said.

Regardless of the plan, Maldini has not been able to convey what Milan has prepared for the process of making Bakayoko friendly. The obvious dilemma is being experienced by Milan, they must be smart to count so they are not sanctioned by Financial Fair Play [FFP].

“Everything depends on the Financial Fair Play case and our final position in the league. If we play for Champions League qualification, it will be very important for us to be in the market and also deepen the squad,” closed Maldini.

Bakayoko was recorded already played for 25 times under direction of Gattuso. Playing stable in the midfield line, the name of Bakayoko has entered as one of Milan’s crucial players who were able to read while changing the flow of the game. The French-born player has scored one goal and one assist for Milan while competing in the Italian Serie A.
