AC Milan no need to sign too many new players

Stefano Pioli as AC Milan’s tactician admits that his team does need to recruit new players in the transfer market this summer, but not in large numbers.

Speaking of performance, the Rossoneri appeared less convincing at the start of this season. However, they then successfully played the second half of the season with a consistent performance.

As a result, the new manager Stefano Pioli successfully led Ibrahimovic and his friends to reach the 6th place in the Italian Serie A final standings. With this result, AC Milan will automatically get a ticket to the Europa League next season.

Of course, there still needs to be improvements made by Milan if they want to compete in various events next season, including in the Europa League. In other words, they should take advantage of this summer’s transfer window to sign new players.

Regarding this, coach Stefano Pioli also admitted that AC Milan really needed the intake of new players. However, according to him, there is no need to buy many players at once.

“Milan doesn’t need a lot of new players. We need a bit of reinforcements but in the right position. I’m sure the club will find the right solution. I got in touch with CEO Ivan Gazidis, with Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, ”

“Together we will do our best to improve this team,” he told Skrill, via Italian Football.

As for the last few months, AC Milan has begun to be linked with several names of players, including French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

On the one hand, Chelsea as the owner of the player is said to be ready to let Bakayoko go. But Milan still object to the price set by the Premier League giants.

Not only that, Milan is also linked with two other Premier League players, they are Sergie Aurier (Tottenham Hotspur) and England winger, Jesse Lingard (Manchester United).

Well, besides bringing in several new AC Milan players, it is also said to be ready to release a number of its players. Two names so far believed to be sold by Milan, they are Davide Calabria and Lucas Paqueta.

We’ll just look forward to how Milan steps in the transfer market later.
